I bought the water-based varnish for a 30-meter linear fir fence. One month after application, the wood hasn't cracked and the color remained uniform, even after several rains. I applied it myself, with a wide brush, respecting the 4-hour drying time between coats. The only inconvenience was that I had to lightly sand between coats for better adhesion.

I recently applied water-based varnish on a fir fence and the result was even, with no unpleasant odor. I would like to know if other users have noticed the same durability after a full winter.
